Beginning at underground DC parties in 2006 and clubs from late 2008, DC-area native MAJR has been a mainstay in his hometown’s music scene for more than a decade. From 2008-2011, his eclectic party SHIFT helped evolve the landscape of local nightlife, while his iconic diva-celebratory SIREN has continued that tradition since 2010 with annual bashes of epic proportions, including the ROBYN RIOT and KYLIE JULYLIE. MAJR is an ex-resident at Berlin Nightclub and Big Chicks in Chicago, Green Lantern and Cobalt in DC, IBT’s in Tucson and played multiple festivals and clubs throughout the country. MAJR loves to dance—first and foremost—and his passion for blending nu disco, future & tropical house with dirty indie electro and guilty retro pleasures into a collectively danceable momentum is matched only by his fervor for making the floor erupt into frenzy.
Jeff Prior
Jeff Prior
Jeff Prior is the founder of CTRL, a Washington, DC-based queer DJ collaborative. Since 2012, Jeff has been a regular fixture in DC's queer nightlife scene, including a monthly residency at Town Danceboutique from 2014 to 2018.
Greg Haus
Greg Haus
Greg Haus has been a respected part of Chicago's electronic music scene since the '90s, is the guiding creative
force behind Chicago’s iconic Berlin Nightclub and developed the hugely popular 15-year-running Cosmix
Fridays, which has helped shape the Chicago nightlife scene. He is the curator and DJ of the Robyn Showcase:
The Polar Music Dance Party in the Windy City and his sound is edgy, but accessible; drawing inspiration
from the fringes of club culture to blend some of the most unique and infectious mixes of music you'll hear
anywhere in the United States. Recently, he has played sets with electro-sleaze goddess Peaches, Diplo, Boys
Noize, Ladytron, Riton, The Juan Maclean, Nancy Whang (LCD Soundsystem), Buzz McCoy (My Life With
The Thrill Kill Kult), Miss Kittin & The Hacker, JD Samson (Le Tigre / MEN), Donald Glaude, Reuben Wu
(Ladytron), Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6/Hercules & Love Affair), Lady Miss Kier (Deee-Lite), Dean Coleman, Ralphi
Rosario, Ssion, Yelle/Tepr, Crystal Castles, Leslie & The Lys, & Cazwell.
Pussy Noir
Pussy Noir
Pussy Noir, who has been with SIREN since its June 2010 inception, is the stage and nightclub persona of performance artist Jason Barnes. A performer since the age of four, Jason has combined his formal training in stage and voice with his love for fashion and the avant-garde. As John Marble of Brightest Young Things once put it, Pussy Noir is “more gender-f*ck than drag.” She is not a diva or a queen, she is a distinct and uninhibited voice, bathing in layers of contradictions, from stilettos to poodle skirts. She provokes and incites the crowd and when all is said and done, what’s left is nothing but a boy in heels. Skin to stage.
