Nadastrom
Nadastrom
The D.C.-born, L.A.-based duo Nadastrom come from different backgrounds, but share a ravenous appetite for extremes. From producing genre bending club anthems to house & techno groovers, Dave and Matt have been praised in the pages of Spin and Rolling Stone, pumped on the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 and NPR, and revered at nightclubs and festivals across the planet.

Nadastrom’s sound has never been lacking in creativity. In 2007 when they first signed to Dave “Switch” Taylor’s Dubsided imprint, their debut EP “Pussy” immediately rose to the top of the Beatport charts. Along with pioneering the fusion genre Moombahton in 2009, they’ve remixed, produced and toured with some of the biggest names in music including Skrillex, M.I.A. and Kid Cudi.

In 2010, the duo relocated from their hometown of Washington D.C. to Los Angeles, treading new sonic ground and finding comfort in fresh surroundings. Their adventurous DJ sets and productions landed them regular invites to world-renowned L.A. club institutions such as The Do-Over, Low End Theory, and A Club Called Rhonda. They’ve even hosted and curated several stages and events for Hard’s Day Of The Dead and Holy Ship! festivals.

Nadastrom’s most recent output explores a stronger, more refined melodic house sound, while maintaining their original style and influences. This is most notable in their 2015 self-titled debut album on L.A. label Friends Of Friends & Dubsided. During its release, Nadastrom broke the top electronic albums chart on iTunes and was praised in influential media outlets such as Pitchfork and Resident Advisor. LA Weekly called it one of the “Best L.A. Albums of 2015” while Entertainment Weekly described it as “boundary breaking with an unexpected pop edge.”

With a near decade of consistent touring, releases, and accolades under their belt, Nadastrom continue to move crowds and dance floors worldwide. And through their signature style and exploration in dance music and club culture, Dave and Matt manage to keep audiences anticipating their every move.
Gent & Jawns
Gent & Jawns
After developing respectable solo careers as DJs and producers, long-time friends Billy the Gent and Long Jawns officially banded together as Gent & Jawns becoming an unstoppable force in the world of club music. The release of their now classic Moombahton anthem "Vibrate" catapulted them to the top of everyone's list of producers to work with and landed them remixes for Datsik, Bare, and Muffler, as well as collaborations with Nadastrom, Torro Torro and JWLS.

In early 2012 they worked with mega-producer Diplo on his Express Yourself EP, which topped the iTunes charts as the number one electronic album. They followed up with an absolutely stunning remix of the title track "Express Yourself," which saw repeated plays by many of the top DJs in the world. Shortly after, they released "Holler," their first official EP on Mad Decent's Jeffrees label. Jeffrees went on to earn the iTunes Label of the Year honors. The duo ended the year proper when they released "TURNUP", a party-inducing track that's being called the biggest trap song of 2012. In two weeks the track saw 80,000 plays and held position as the top electronic song on SoundCloud.

While known for their world-class production, Gent & Jawns' secret weapon is their ability to perform live. Long Jawns is a legend in his hometown of Richmond, VA, where he is widely known for throwing the biggest and best parties the city has seen in years. Billy The Gent began DJing with support from his friend Dave Nada (Nadastrom, creator of Moombahton) in Washington, DC and quickly became a staple at the famous U-Street Music Hall. Together, Gent & Jawns have gone on to share the stage with top notch acts like Diplo, Dillon Francis, Nadastrom, Caspa, Craze, Die Antwoord, and more.
Prince Of Queens
(NYCTRUST, Combo Chimbita)

Hailing from a futuristic landscape where gravel, glass and steel rub up against tropical traditions passed down to street-savvy Third Culture kids, Prince of Queens has made it his mission to synthesize NYC’s trans-caribbean culture clash and turn it into something entirely unique: deep techno improbably sprouted from tropic disco; demented cumbia and merengue as imagined by a clever, glitchy robot; a nod to Detroit from a Colombian immigrant’s point of view. Merecutek collects five new cuts cooked up by POQ in his Casa Del Indio studio, a dank den of blinking analog filters, resonators and sequencers that also happens to be the creative space of one Felipe Quiroz, widely known as the multi-instrumentalist holding down the low-end for Combo Chimbita, and who is whispered to have a strong resemblance to the Prince Of Queens himself. Mastered at London’s legendary Carvery for massive bottom and crisp highs, this new maxi single from Names You Can Trust is positioned to turn out adventurous dancefloors and soundtrack urban headphone walkabouts. Tropical Past and Future is here now, if can you glimpse it in the shadows of Queens.
